Went for my first hike of 2026 this morning. I passed a little girl (maybe between 8-10 yrs old) w her mom. As I was heading back down I met up with them again as they were coming up the steep part of the trail.
The little girl moved to the side and stopped and said to me “good job running.”

The Norwegian Nobel Committee made it clear that while a laureate can physically give away the medal or other physical items, that does not make someone else a Nobel Peace Prize winner. The official title and recognition remain tied to the person the committee originally selected.
