I’ve never seen any of her movies. All I’ve ever heard were horrible things about her politics and how she treated her son, so I never cared to look into her work.

Oh, and she loved animals.

We ate at the Bernalillo site a couple months ago and the food and service were abysmal. We only ate here because it was late when we got into town, and we didn’t want fast food or drive into Abq. This was my first time trying this place. I don’t drink, so I’m not sure how that service was.

There is really not much hope for a colony that refuses to acknowledge truths. There is not much hope of any relationship with such people. And I know more and more Indigenous people are feeling the same way. Until the truths are finally acknowledged, there is no such thing as reconciling this. 🪶
