Well, it’s official, one of the most effective programs under SAMHSA/HHS has been canceled by the Tr*mp administration. We have helped over 100,000 people experiencing homelessness access benefits, we are in every state, we save money at every level, we are extremely effective, and we are canceled.

Federally funded projects are being cut left and right and this asshole spent how much on a parade that hardly anyone attended? Make it make any f’ing sense!

Hypocrisy! Just a few months ago my MAGA father yelled at me about the debt as justification for cutting programs to people who need it the most (including funding for my job), but now he and others like him are the first to praise this debt ballooning ‘beautiful bill.’ Hypocrisy.

I spent the last week training social workers from across the country to assist vulnerable populations; we had amazing federal partners there. Yesterday they were fired, no reason given, their work and mission not considered, just gone. The carelessness and incompetence of this admin is beyond.

War in Ukraine still happening? Grocery prices still high? Are we “great again”?

This. Over the past two weeks we have been ordered to scrub our website on everything from DEI to LGBTQ+, we’re no longer able to use the term gender, and even information about pay equity is gone.

It’s dark days over here for federal contractors. Especially those of us who, oh I don’t know, help underserved and marginalized populations!

So let me get this straight. If we’re now just ignoring the constitution (e.g. birthright citizenship), hypothetically, a future president could just, EO the second amendment? Huh.
