On February 2nd of every year there is an International festival Honoring of Oya. It is called The Feast Day of Oya. The goddess Oya controls the elements of light, water and wind. She teaches us to not fear change. She is the Eye of the Storm and she Masters the Whip, and Oya is the Mother of 9.
