In laws are currently staying for a few weeks due to hip replacement and dementia. Sitting regularly and talking about the loss of memories, confusion, frustration and in those more lucid moments a short insight into the terror facing you - utterly heartbreaking, so cruel, so very cruel...

So normal service will be taking a break as in laws descend, one with dementia and the other having a hip operation so will be recovering here until fit to return home, having a bungalow is probably a value not considered properly in the scheme of things!

Gigged at the weekend, never had so much feedback.... that was just on stage, jesus still suffering tinnitus!! With me feet issues of tendon stuff, playing is fine, but carrying the heavy shit most certainly isn't...today has been unpleasant when walking!

Watching ELO on the BEEB never realised how accomplished Jeff has been in his career- clearly he’s just brilliant!! Were covering MrBSky in my new band recording out later in the year!

Been for a run, at 1:15 pm - it was a bit hot, not sure the lie in was worth it instead of getting up and having a run..... oh well, have lost about a gallon of sweat need those boomerang smell busters now!

Well post the triathlon a couple of weeks back and literally back in the saddle today... Fek it was hot but fear not, tomorrow is a swimming day, just as the temperature dives to reasonably warm ah well, life is never ordered is it.....

So next Saturday is the Triathlon no weight has been lost, I’ve had only 3 open water swims and I’ve not run the distance in training… but I’m up for it which I guess is what counts!!

Not long to go before my Triathlon at Blenheim- I’ve not lost weight swam once in a pool once in a lake have not completed a 3 mile run but smash the bike section…. I’m going to be last aren’t I…….

We had one of our chickens attacked yesterday maybe a cat or similar. We’ve nursed and medicated but alas don’t expect she will last the night- my wife is so upset it’s why I love her compassionate for every living animal ❤️

As we slide down the euphoria of a weekend with actual sun and climb the resentment ladder of working whilst the weathers good - Monday alarm is now 4:45 due to a road closure and detour to the train station and 2 days workshops… fek!! Happy week all!

Started off as a leaky tap and a new washer which rapidly escalated as every link in the sodding chain broke….. ended up new taps isolation valves pipe work and brute force of fekkin compression joints 12 hours over 2 weekends and missed out on todays weather ffs….

A few years back helped get my lad work experience at Worcester Warriors doing some rugby coaching, they were brilliant to him - today I learned the new Welsh coach is the guy who took him under his wing!

Started retraining for a triathlon after significant weight gain and sedate lifestyle 3rd bike session and 1 hr and 10 minutes completed the pyramid session! Iwont be able to sit for a week now!!
