also update about this; only one of the sparkling gourami made it past the first 48 hours but is doing fine now. i think im going to name him Squinch

decided to get rid of my 60 cube and sold it today; on a more fun note im going to set up the 75 at this end of this week most likely x3

all of the gold tetras have done great and settled in really well living with the gold neons and endlers.
the sparklers have done less great; one died during the night and another today. that leaves 4 of them, and im really hoping they pull through and settle in ok

update on the two tanks i set up a few weeks ago; didnt mean for the cube to end up blackwater but here we are lol i wish that had happened in the 10 gallon instead bc thats what i had pictured, but ill get it there

and here are the 40 breeder and other 20 high after maintenance; i love how the 40 is looking more and more with time, but the 20 im not really happy with atm for some reason. not sure what direction to take it long term

have been doing maintenance on my tanks today so theyre in good shape while im traveling and i think the lil blackwater swampy tank is looking extremely nice after. for such a dim tank the plants are growing in so lush too

the two new tanks now have plants in them ^-^ i also squeezed out a used sponge filter in both, so thats why the water is so cloudy but should speed up the cycling process a bit. also put established biomedia in the filter of the 10 gal, so that should REALLY fucking speed it up lol

filling up the 10gal from the other day x3 most of the wood is staying in place a lot better than i expected so far but some is floating a little but itll be ok

and as for the 6gal, im going to transplant some red cherry shrimp from my 40 breeder asian community to start a breeding colony. so my first shrimp only tank in a while

started setting up two new tanks today; one 6gal cube and a 10gal. the cube is going to be my first real go at a walsted method tank, and the 10 is going to be (hopefully) blackwaterish with the main (and maybe only) plant being water lettuce
