So excited for Dimension 20 Fantasy High: Junior Year in January! Husband and I have already carved out Saturday nights to hook up the laptop to the TV and watch together and make it our date night, and I'm so excited.

So I can't make any official announcements but have a conversation with a friend today about a commission project that could end up taking my work to far and distant lands. We're not even close to drafting a contract yet, but already, the pressure to overthink things leaves me in a stupor.

Really happy to announce that I was recently named Chair of the Abundant Silence Publication Review committee. It is an honor and privilege to get to give back to the community and help lift up voices in new music. Cannot wait to get to work in the coming new year. 🎧

No joke, a bit more than half of the images that I reverse image search, images that I got from Google or other websites, and I know exist elsewhere on the internet, we'll come back with having no results. But you know what pops up? products similar to things that are pictured in the image. 🙃
Google killing image search is so funny its a fundamental misunderstanding of why one searches for images. looking for references historic moments, anatomy, places, artists works?? No, people just want to see "duck with human legs" and other nonsense prompts. goodbye reality.

Had a really good night. Great stream (I got 55 followers now!), did a lot of good composition work, made a good dinner, and listening to Dimension 20 while sipping an Anita Bryant. Such a perfect day.

OMG Just got 30 followers on Twitch. :) This actually makes me so excited. I know it's not a lot, but I've been enjoying streaming on the weekends and I got 5 followers in the past 48 hours so that makes me happy.

How do I keep doing this to my self. I included an obvious "stretch goals" proposal for a commission and now that I keep expanding on it the more I feel like I'm setting myself up for dissapointment when they inevitably don't pick it. Such is the life of an artist: my eyes bigger than their budgets.

Can't announce it yet officially, but I am getting a commission here soon. It need to work up the proposal and work out the financials. So excited!
