“This Campaign Is About the Common Good.”

I’m not in this race to divide people. I’m in it to remind us that politics should be rooted in respect, care, and accountability - in loving our neighbors and working for the common good.
The Office of Personnel Management says the federal workforce is “leaner and more effective.”
What they do not say is who pays the price.
In NY-23, Social Security, veterans' care, and basic services are lifelines.
Cut staff. Call it efficiency. Ignore the human cost.

If I am elected in 2026, my job will not begin in January 2027. It begins now.

The biggest decisions in Congress are made before the cameras turn on. Before the votes. Before people realize what is at stake.

I believe leadership means preparation...

Today, Aaron Gies issued a statement on U.S. actions in Venezuela, the limits of executive power, and why Congress must uphold its constitutional responsibility before Americans are sent into harm’s way.

Last night the Administration attacked a sovereign country without any Declaration of War or legal justification and abducted its President. This should concern all Americans who love peace and the rule of law.

Trump vetoed two bipartisan bills. One would have supported water infrastructure for communities in Colorado. The other would have helped a Native American tribe in Florida protect its community from flooding. Both passed Congress with support from both parties.

Trump vetoes first bills of his second term
Trump vetoed a bill on a Colorado water project he said wasn't economically viable, but one of his allies questioned if he had political motives.

Yesterday, Nick Langworthy issued a press release celebrating new federal funding for rural hospitals.

Here is the problem. He voted for policies that weaken Medicaid & destabilize hospital finances, then turns around & claims credit for a narrow grants as proof that he supports healthcare.

Cold water fades. Commitment does not.
Please help us close out the year strong. Deadline midnight 12/31.

Showing up matters.
Leadership is not just about what you say. It is about whether people can count on you when it is uncomfortable.
December 29, 2025 at 9:44 PM
Leadership is not about comfort. If it were, I would have planned this somewhere warmer.

It is about accountability, shared sacrifice, and showing up when it matters.

Yesterday’s polar plunge was one cold moment. The work ahead is much bigger.

Showing up matters.

Tomorrow, December 27, I am taking a polar plunge to put accountability into practice. This campaign is about follow-through, presence, and action, even when it is uncomfortable.

Please help us close the quarter strong.
Donate before December 31.

Tomorrow, December 27, I am taking a polar plunge to prove a simple point. Showing up matters more than talking points.

If I ask for your trust, I should be willing to earn it. Especially when it is uncomfortable.

Hope is not always big or loud.
Sometimes it is a small light.
A family moment.
A reminder that care still matters.
May this season bring peace, warmth, and connection, however you mark it.
Happy holidays.

Would you jump into icy water for your neighbors?
For working families?
For dignity, accountability, and a government that shows up?

If you were unable to read the article on the Bipartisan Townhall from the Lockport Journal, here are some excerpts. Enjoy!

We are not running a politics-as-usual campaign.

This one includes a grown man jumping into freezing water on purpose.

On December 27, I am doing a polar plunge. Yes, it is a performance. It is also cold. Both things can be true.

Friends,

Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen illness, the bipartisan town hall tomorrow in S. Wales has to be canceled.

We hope to arrange for another event in the near future.

Please stay tuned. Thank you.

Yesterday, 12/17/2025, a last-minute bipartisan effort to save our health care failed in the House by one vote.

Nick Langworthy voted for skyrocketing premiums and shuttered hospitals.

We cannot afford this.

Unaccountable executive and military actions are a warning sign. Congress has a duty to provide oversight.

Our democracy was not meant to be controlled by the ultra-wealthy.

With a fairer tax code, “We would have fewer super wealthy people with hundreds of millions of dollars to burn on political races that they have no business having a voice in.”

Raia of Hornell asked a question that too many people in NY23 already know. Once most politicians get elected, they disappear. Aaron gave a clear answer. Representation means showing up. It means listening. It means staying connected to the people you serve.

Sometimes democracy looks like paperwork. Sometimes it looks like a sled ride powered by one very hyped up and determined husky.
Either way, it works best when we show up for each other.

Public service should feel human. It should feel joyful. It should feel like a community coming together for something bigger than politics. It should start with a husky-drawn sled ride and a good holler.

Hornell showed up on December 7 with honesty, heart, and tough questions about what is happening in NY 23. Aaron listened. He answered with moral clarity. And he made one promise. Everyone deserves a representative who shows up, tells the truth, and works for the common good.
