I recently released my inventory costing system spreadsheets in a $5 zip bundle on my website. The bundle includes 7 template spreadsheets and an instructional pdf on how to use them. This is the costing system I've been using since 2021 and is based on what I learned for my accounting degree.

In a typical employment situation, you split FICA taxes with your employer. When self-employed, you have to pay both halves, a combined 12.4% for Soc Sec tax and 2.9% for Medicare. The employer half is tax deductible.

Remember to track your mileage when traveling to and from events! This year, the standard mileage is $0.70 per mile!
