On Becoming a Guinea Fowl might be the best film I’ve seen in many years. Utterly singular in tone and vision, bitingly funny and devastating. I don’t know if i’ve ever seen a better exploration of the ways culture and ritual is so weaponised and insidious. GO SEE IT NOWWWW
