Interesting. Walmart is the second largest employer in NS by number of employees. They are good profiteers-taking advantage of weak legislation and any way to have their business model publicly subsidized.

Every Walmart employee in Nova Scotia should be holding either an SEIU, UFCW or UNIFOR union card in their wallet. Unions are workers response to employers shitty takes on working conditions.

The USA was founded on genocide. Every administration has committed war crimes. Trump's administration is no exception. The USA empire needs to be destroyed to allow the USA Republic to flourish.

We need campaigns that respond clearly to the concerns of struggling people with real proposals. We don't need fluffy and empty videos of leaders riding skateboards and trying to act hip and cool. It should not be about electing a person. It should be about electing the pathway to reforms.
I wrote this commentary last week on New York City #mayor-elect #MamdaniZohran, who brought so many factors to politics we don't see often: fun, joy, hope, and guts.
