Thinking about how, in the event the Recoms are hurt/defective, the RDA may attempt to recycle their bio-matter. Then how the Recoms would (quite reasonably) be terrified at the idea and flee. Not necessarily a 'they change sides' type of story either. Just fleeing the RDA.
