While politicians make the country and world a more insane and scary place to live, I am trying to do things I can control… It’s not easy. That’s for sure.
One of the things I can control is me not spending an arm and leg at diners every day. I cut going out to diners back to only once a week.

Had $68 left to my name. Used it wisely and went to Walmart here in Winslow to stock up to prepare for a weekend of sitting due to the bad mega storm east of me. I think I’ll make myself a hot chocolate… I earned it after this 600+ mile day!

Was up at 3AM and ran into LA to pick up my run to Denver, CO. While eating on the truck is good and all, it’s nice to get out of this rolling box and treat myself. After this? I will be back to making meals on the rig.

Don’t worry. I cooked it for 30 min or more. The pink is the glow from my hexagon mood lights!
I wanted to make chicken and rice but since it was late, I just decided to simply make my entire pack of chicken and saved half for tomorrow’s breakfast.
Other than that? It’s a yummy success! 🙂

This is gonna be my home until have enough saved to put something down on a house in upstate / Albany NY. No more renting. I’m so tired of the feeling of stress when my lease ends, trying to find a new place to live, rents constantly going up everywhere… It’s gonna take a lot of sacrifice and work…

Caught this cool transit shot of some Type 6s, one of the old blue and yellow buses, and a rarely seen C-Trans bus, route 105X. I didn’t know they did rush hour service into Portland. The only C-Tran bus I have been on is the 60 to go to the local furry meet up.
