recently i saw someone riding this sit-down electric unicycle thing, and i couldn't help laughing at the unintentionally smug-looking, receiving tribute from your vassals as is your due-type posture you apparently have to adopt in order to ride it

while i of course still believe that reading books by marginalized people (which includes many men!) is important, i do also realize today that some of that was coming from the intense gender dysphoria i couldn't identify as such, which made me want to stay away from "guy stuff"

(the upper bear gulch cave at pinnacles national park is only open a few weeks out of the year, and i haven't gone through it since i was like 13, so i really wanna do that this spring. i even found my headlamp!)

yesterday i saw sooo many wildflowers already!
i saw milkmaids, poppies, greater periwinkles, warrior's plume, mustard flowers (i think?), daffodils and a bunch of tiny little orange ones
no oxalis flowers yet, but i think that's more like a march thing maybe
