We are living in the worst of times. I’ve never seen as much hate in my entire life as I’ve seen in the last year. This country is sinking, and sinking fast.I feel sorry for both these women. Seeing how terrified the DoorDash driver was, it’s just debilitating. And after what happened in Minnesota, I had a conversation with my kids today about opening the door. Never ever should you open the door if you don’t 100% know the person on our front porch. Look at the cameras. I got cameras all around my house and they can see every inch of our house. If you don’t see somebody you know on that camera, do not open that door. And the door stays locked at all times. Locked and bolted. And if you don’t feel comfortable making that decision, come get me because I’m comfortable being mean.Because if you open the door, ICE can stick their foot in the door and then when you try close it, say that you assaulted an officer. People are so scared they are sprinting into strangers’ homes just to feel safe. Owners are scared and they don’t know what to do in that moment. I’m sharing this because fear like this does not come out of nowhere. When enforcement turns into intimidation, everyday life becomes a panic attack.
