Just dawned on me. I am probably the only person who worked on Doctor Who spin-off Shakedown: Return of the Sontarans (1994) who is still (just) in their 40s. I had not long turned 17 when we made it.

Tonight we watched a film called We Need to Do Something. It had good moments, 1 v. creepy. Made me laugh a lot which I don't think is intentional. Trouble was it was glacial at times. Could have made a great half hour or hour film. But it was just rather ultimately unfulfilling.

@jayforeman.bsky.social Do you know where I could access detailed maps of Northern Rome showing Monte Mario and the Via Villa Di Madama from 1880s to 1920s? I can't seem to find anything equivalent to an OS map of the area. And to be quite frank with you, it's doing my nut in.

Loved it as a child and enjoying it still.

Been playing a game with our daughter called Seasons After Fall, and it's got right near the end and there's been some sort of glitch where there should have been a cut scene at one point to spawn a weed round a rock. Neither are there. Sigh

Just watched a film called The People In The Walls. Dreadful. Incoherent. Terrible audio balance, inaudible dialogue and ear splitting music. Boring. Some nice visuals and jump scares but it was a mess. Stuck it out til the end. Shouldn't have bothered. It was so languid.

How do other European Nations treat those with mental and physical health issues and others on benefits? Curious to know if they vilify them like the UK seems happy to do.

Saw a bit of Rock DJ scene from that Monkie Williams film and had to turn it off. I think my main problem is I find most of his music massively annoying and having a CGI human/ape singing and dancing to it made it immeasurably more annoying.

I'm struggling on here. I can post bloody with images on my laptop but not my phone. The app crashes. Every time. Makes me even less likely to put stuff on here.

Was in Aldi before and a load of packs of chicken slid off on to the floor. A lady said , "I was no where near them! How did they fall off?" As her and 2 other women picked them up and put them back on the shelf I said, "It's a poultrygeist"
