Sometimes I wonder if I think about Arsenal too much...then I go back to thinking about Arsenal. Block 9. #LatteFirm. Honest to my federation.

Liverpool's run of scoring in consecutive league games is over, meaning Arsenal still hold the record at 55 games in a row.

These internationals are gonna have me on edge because we’re so close full bill of health.

Expecting 5 of these 6 to be back for Spurs.

All I need now is for the 115 charges to drop during the internationals

Title race doesn’t begin till April but you can definitely be out of it in November.

Generally speaking if you lose more than 4 in the season, you’re not likely to be in it by April. So the City Liverpool game could potentially end one of their chances.

We went 10/10 wins before today.

Almost 11/11 but by the end of that game we looked spent - tired legs, tired minds after 3rd away in a week, it was expected that at some stage this would take a toll.

They walked the league with a devastating attack and added Wirtz and potentially Isak.

We’re still incomplete up top and there’s been several times in Arteta’s tenure that our lack of creativity has reared its head.

Can’t state enough how crucial this Eze deal will be in shaping our season.

Mbappe is not a striker. He can play there very well but his best is coming from that wide left.

Moving him central to accommodate Vinicius will continue to cost Real Madrid.

They need to address the elephant in the room and sell Mbappe to Arsenal.

That moment where there were the back to back goal line clearances and saves from Courtois had my head spinning.

We had them on toast and that too without a striker.

For all his faults I still find it batshit people don’t rate Arteta.

Coached a 6-0 but for poor finishing against Real Fucking Madrid today.

Not even got the energy for another refereeing bullshit.

Still have doubts Saka will make either Madrid game but first back to back UCL QF in 15 years…

Until the end Mikel 🥂

Glad we didn’t have to face that PSG side from last night.

I’ve got a lot of time for Luis Enrique. He coaches well - their press controlled and they managed that game well - had more than Liverpool did in the tank in second half of extra time.

5 months is a long time to wait for football again.

0-0 away on a cold midweek night up north is top 3 worst experiences.

Would do again.

Saw West Ham bring on Evan Ferguson late in the game.

We could’ve ended the Neto loan and got a tried and tested Premier League player that was available on deadline day.

Surely they didn’t think he’s a worse option than Merino / Sterling up top.

The Leicester game could’ve easily ended how today’s game went if they scored that chance.

We’ve at best got a goal in us in the game but if we concede, that slim chance also disappears because of our inability to create chances

Every weekend was so mentally taxing because we were always just one defeat / draw away from catastrophe.

After last the win last weekend I’ve made my peace that league isn’t happening this season - they’ll take revenge for the way their mate got dragged in public.

Yesterday started with Sky saying PGMOL stand by their decision, to saying it’s one journalists information to ending the day with PGMOL statement about abuse.

I’m sure today will bring new and more innovative gaslighting from them.

I didn’t celebrate when we scored.

It was partly expecting some ridiculous infringement from VAR and partly everything around that red card.

It’s the first time I’ve felt the season is done - today was one too many incidents of “inconsistent” refereeing for me to think there’s not more at play
January 26, 2025 at 12:47 AM
After Oliver there were

2 x linesmen
1 x 4th official
1 x VAR
1 x Assistant VAR

That’s 5 people who could’ve interjected and said, mate, think that over…

Instead they all contributed to the insanity.

It’s not bad refereeing, they are manufacturing outcomes

Our obsession with wanting to play the perfect pass, the perfect goal kick, the perfect throw in does more damage to our game than anything our opponents inflict.

We kill any momentum we build ourselves.
