The only bright note tonight is Mainoo looked more like himself.
Been poor the last couple of games but I thought he looked sharp today and moved the ball well.

Maz and Dalot are consistently the oppositions best defenders. They close down our angle of attack repeatedly. Not their fault, they have strengths but going forward as a wing back are not remotely it.

So Gary Neville what actually is your problem with giving Utd some credit. They really were ok today. Just defend crosses properly, we weren’t stretched at all aside from that. Ugarte is a player, certainly for this manager in this system. Get in reds.

Very much looking forward to Sunday. Just a style and something identifiable will be a huge leap forward. It will take time of course but at least it will be interesting and will feel like there is a purpose to it all again. Bring it on #mufc
