Coworker called me and asked if he could rant about another coworker that pissed him off and I said sure but if you also let me have the stage also lol so he complained about said coworker and I told him about how I told my best friend and a funny conversation he and I had. (1/2)

Now that I have a good paying job I'm able to pay it forward just a bit in this rough economy. Person was selling a premium parking pass for $20 less than what was on the site. They accepted $180 but I sent the full $200. Not much but little things.

I love it. My niece is planning a family reunion and I volunteered to help man the grill. She was like oh well...turns out I already planned on you being on the grill along with (my older brothers) she's like I'm not gonna have our family eat shitty food.... TALK ABOUT A COMPLIMENT.

Finished Empire of Silence and it was a solid book. It was a bit wordy/dragged a bit a few times but overall a fun read! The fight scenes were fun enough. I like the characters. Not sure how I feel about the MC.

I wish I coulda gotten that doge email asking what I did this week...
1. Went on an epic adventure to find the ninja turtles with my 4 year old nephew
2. Using clues my nephew found, figured out that shredder kidnapped the turtles.
3. Turned into power rangers
4. Defeated shredder
5. Ninja turtles

I think I've found a way to articulate what bothers me about the trajectory of the modern tech industry (and to some extent... society).
We are on this Earth to provide for each other. That's the "mission" of humanity as I see it.
This is incompatible with what the tech industry seeks to do.

Hell I'm fuckin 30 years old and my coworkers and friends are like dude you need to slow down. I can see that your brain is working WAY FASTER than what your mouth can keep up with. That's not the first time I've been said that. I'm always in a rush to do everything.

I love how I went to my VA psych a few months ago bc I suspected I had ADHD but I was still dealing with depression and that shined through. The psych gave me meds for my depression and to help focus. Well now that I've been on it for a bit I can't focus anymore. Helped for a bit but not long. 🙃

Sometimes whenever I get drunk af I love to argue with the little conservative friends I have left about Trump. Dems have tried taking the high ground and that's gotten no one anywhere so time to fight dirty too. I already have no meaning for life so what's next? Kick to the balls?
