...And the car - whose wheels have already been on their own adventure?
We got a flat tire twice and got stuck in the dunes.
Thankfully, we were rescued each time by some very handsome local guys. I'd say it was worth the trouble!

Yes, I did it! I finally went for a run on the other side of the equator.
Don't judge my pace - this was more trailing than running. Felt like I was running uphill the entire time! But the company was epic: groundhogs, guinea fowls, hoopoes, parrots, canaries, lizards, a ton of succulents, and me 😁

I run the same route. The measuring tool in Google Maps and my GPS show the same result, +/-1%. But my watch is inaccurate, always in the same direction.
Could it be that your route was too winding or had a lot of hills?
