Was thrilled to be with our @caltech.edu men’s hoops team last night. And yes, that is me on ESPN+!!

When we are poll watching, a lot of what we look for is simple:
- is the vote center easy to find?
- how accessible is the vote center?
- is there ample and accessible parking?
- are all required postings in obvious locations?
- is the vote center fully operational?
There is a method to it all!

There's been a lot of discussion about federal election monitors in the Nov 4th election here in CA. Here's my take, on my Election Science Field Notes Substack.

Been out in the field with election monitoring, and learned some important lessons about how election officials can build resilient elections. It's on my Election Science Field Notes, on Substack! @caltechlcssp.bsky.social
