Personally, I dont like Shastri, but I truly believe this will be good for English cricket. Hes technically more sound than Mccu, mentally equally strong, and more pragmatic. Used to English cricket too.

I know nothing about selecting wine, which i vital at this time of year. So I use my simple method:
Two parameters. One personal one about the pallette. Works more for Red.
Mood, ocasion: Relaxed or strong.
Then,
Taste: sweet or dry.

Might be useful for some others like me.

Viv Richards was the first batter who was great because he was an essentially aggressive player. Previously batting greatness was measured in terms of patience, grace, technique and sheer no. of runs scored. Viv began a new measure of greatness later followed by Tendulkar, Lara, Ponting, Pietersen.
