Vandaag had ik het genoegen om een lezing te geven aan de Open Universiteit over een onderwerp dat mij na aan het hart ligt: dierzaamheid. We bespraken de emotionele belevingswereld van (huis)dieren, hun ecologische pootafdruk, en de rol die dieren spelen in het duurzaamheidsdebat.

Gisteren heb ik met veel plezier de documentaire SAM ingeleid in Filmhuis de Spiegel. SAM gaat over een gered moedervarken uit de vee-industrie, dat nog één keer in vrijheid haar biggen zelf mag opvoeden en verzorgen.
