A Finnish researcher has designed a visual tool to get us talking in depth about the emotional impact of the climate crisis

Each emotion on the wheel is accompanied by a key question to help users respond to how they’re feeling. For ‘empowerment’ users are asked: “When and where have I felt empowered in climate action and how can I recapture that feeling?”

I also discuss how the experience of grief and rage can often be quite holistic in the contemporary world, linking such concepts as Weltschmerz and "sociopolitical grief" (Darcy Harris) to the issue. Thanks to Dr. Michael Hogue for the original invitation.

My new article discusses various tasks and dynamics in #ecologicalgrief. Sometimes people need more attention to feelings of loss, and sometimes to all that results from the losses and changes. The DPM (Stroebe and Schut) is a famous model in grief research.
