The Index ranks the 30 states that are members of both OECD DAC + the Media Freedom Coalition

It draws on data from 2024, except for the ODA figures, which are for 2023.

It is a joint project between @uniofeastanglia.bsky.social and City St George’s, University of London

Its out! Our new Index on International Media Freedom Support (IMFS) - which ranks 30 countries on how actively they support #mediafreedom beyond their borders through diplomatic, funding and safety initiatives.
