Former FBI informant Alexander Smirnov pleaded guilty to fabricating claims of a bribery scheme involving Hunter Biden and his father. House Republicans trumpeted these false charges. Smirnov, who also pleaded guilty to tax evasion, was sentenced last week to 6 years in prison.

This performance really moves me in a deep way, bringing tears but some sense of healing in a troubled world:

There seems to be widespread animus at health insurance companies. But sketicism about covid booster shots, which Trump fueled, caused about 35,000 excess deaths. That must be greater mortality than any executive caused, but has there been criticism of Trump for his elevation of the death toll?
