I am excited about the upcoming and newly released publications by my colleagues at the Department of Economics, University of York, @emmatominey.bsky.social, Khushboo Surana, Andrew Jones and James Lomas.

I just finished watching the Nobel prize lectures in Economic Sciences by Daron Acemoglu, Simon Johnson and James Robinson. Great talks on the importance of institutions in explaining differences in economic prosperity across countries.

I thoroughly enjoyed the second event in the Research Talks Series at the Department of Economics, University of York with three exciting and insightful talks by Andrew Jones, Paulo Santos Monteiro and Jack Britton.

I am thrilled to announce that my paper "Dividing Housework between Partners: Individual Preferences and Social Norms", co-authored with Danilo Cavapozzi and Marco Francesconi, is available for download as IZA Discussion Paper No. 17370.
