Oh nice, looks like Zed does syntax highlighting and inline errors for Svelte… a bit more convenient than in TextMate 😅 (but I kinda want to hack together a Svelte highlighter plugin for TM)

im surprised you had a better experience with typescript on zed i genuinely thought vscode would still probably be the best editor for ts considering both are made by the same people but apparently not i guess

In addition to the first Webster's Dictionary of American English, his "Blue-Backed Speller" taught generations of American children how to spell & read.
And he wanted English to be more consistent.
A version of "A-B-C Song" was already established, at least since 1761. It ended on "zed".

Needing a break from jorbing, I decided to give myself #GoLang refresher AND test out the Zed text editor (built in Rust).
I'd like to do more with both languages, but practically speaking Rust feels like overkill for most projects, though much respect for choosing to build a text editor in it.

I have been playing with Zed as an editor and their settings is JSON based, but not empty by default. They also have a handy menu item to show the default settings with all of the options and comments explaining things.
So not as smooth as a UI with everything, pretty easy to copy over and change.
