Isn't cloud XaaS supposed to be pay by consumption? Why would a cloud provider set an artificial limit far too low to be usable, then you need to beg them to increase the limit so you can actually use it as intended?

x as a ServiceのxaaSって乱用しすぎだよな…MaaSとかGaaSとか後発で出てきたのとか他人の発案した言葉に無理矢理当てはめて便乗してる感がハンパねぇなって思ってたんだ。MaaSはギリでアレなんだけどGaaSはなぁ…無理に言葉作って定義する必要もないのに乗っかりたいだけでしょ？正直に言ってごらんって感じ。そこで何でHaaSなんて言葉を思いついたかっていうと、昔高校に通う地元のバスのルート上にパイパニックっていうオッパブと見られる店の看板があったんだよ。要は大人の店が何かの言葉をもじって店名とかにしてるそれに似た風潮だなと低俗に感じただけ。OaaSなんて店も探せばありそうですね。

There's not exactly a lot they can do, but this is exactly the problem the turn to the cloud and XaaS was bound to cause. It's time to hire real engineers and go back to on-prem.
