На досуге вычищаю один из рабочих компов, и как же я блять ебал этот ваш майкрософт блять

на каждого юзера при создании и первом логине заводятся копии всех windows metro apps (лежат в c:\WindowsApps)

при удалении юзера конечно же ПОШЁЛ НАХУЙ остаются

у меня этой блять хуйни 20 гигов на диске

I wish I could mod this version, but it's only available via the Microsoft Store, which heavily encrypts and protects its files in the WindowsApps folder. Even using a Windows XP virtual machine to get the files from a USB just removed the protections, but the encryption remained

iCloud Drive is so great (not), that this is all you need to fix it after feeding Claude the error logs (if you manage to find them *evil laughter from Cupertino*). Healthy.

And this fix worked ffs...

Mostly "Windows/Program Files" and "Windows/Program Files (x86)" but UWP apps from the Windows store are in the HIDDEN folder "Windows/Program Files/WindowsApps" that you will need admin permissions to access.

I guess "%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\WindowsApps;" being appended to the user PATH is done automatically, but why the trailing ';'? That's the evil part - most scripts (like mine) add the ';' character before appending another element. I end up with ';;' which must break the PATH parsing

Actually, I've had the same issue with OpenSSL. I think I just figured out why. I'm setting the machine-wide PATH variable by appending $Env:PATH which contains the user-level PATH, which includes %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\WindowsApps; *with a trailing ';' character*
