My first ever crime... I wanted to give my first wol top scars and make him a viera'ra. I had absolutely 0 prior knowledge and completely rawdogged the entire process and it worked. Somehow. I didn't really know stuff like the body and had absolutely no interest in finding that out for another 3 yrs

Jahleen and Mahreen are clones. They were supposed to be pure Viera, but thanks to their father's interference, and adding his DNA to the mix, they became Viera'Ra, half Viera, half Au'Ra.

Eventually I turned into a viera as a joke because my friend group at the time had every single race except viera (surprisingly) and then. It was no longer a joke. I missed being au ra and almost changed back until I was shown the Viera'ra mod.

that's if you wanna get the full textures of the face scales, if you don't you can just overlay the diffuse on the face manually in penumbra, but it'll look plain or like a tattoo

but that's how I got the scales to work on my viera'ra, which uses a sculpt, so I suppose it's the same w au ra

I have introduced you to Carbonado, but here he is with his mother Ysera. She is a former adventurer and native to the land that the Dome now sits. More about her in the ALT Text.

Carbonado and Ysera, his mother, stand together in her apartment. The two sharing similar hair color and skin tone. Ysera sports bright blue eyes and a sunny personality. The former adventurer giving birth to her mixed blood son near 30 years ago, after her and her husband, Maqali Qalli, found themselves trapped in the dome that was once home to Ysera. Nearing Carbonado's birth, Maqali passed, defending his wife and unborn son from the beasts of the wilds in the Outskirts. After this, Ysera moved herself to Solution Nine as soon as she could, wishing for the safety of her son, who she named for his black scales that his father passed to him that started as a small diamond like shapes on his body. After a bit of time, Ysera made friends with a couple with a child of mix blood as well, who Carbonado quickly attached himself to. The two were fast friends and Ysera teased of the two getting married more than a time or two. She remembers those 15 years most fondly. When Carbonado hit 17, Ysera pulled him from Solution Nine after he found himself in a very bad situation, which left him rather hurt. Ysera avoids talking about that day, as he seems to not remember any of it and to her it is for the best. Since then, Carbonado has flipped his life around, though he keeps his Bounty Hunting as much a secret as he can. Recently, Ysera has contracted Levin Sickness and has been under the care of medical professionals, that have also been treating her for old Vanguard injuries as well. This is costly and she must live in far off apartments from the main part of Solution Nine to keep her Sickness from getting any worse. Carbonado hopes that one day he can get his mom out of the dome they are in and to a place she can truly recover, like one of the far off cities she told him about.

But add to that the reality that its a viera, a viera'ra and a miqo. So there's SO much fur grooming and copious amounts of oils, brushing.. Then the NICE part of the day, a.k.a two small men going to town on a behemoth of scales. It isn't even sexy, its just calm busywork. Peak bonding.

Carbonado chats with Sonnyt while he as work. The red haired Viera'ra man very protective of his childhood friend and always looking out for their best interest. He is a bit dense in noticing things at times, but is deeply devoted to helping his mother, who is ailing from Levin Sickness. Carbonado is unusually tall, standing a bit taller than his father once did, as his mother often tells him on his visits to her. Carbonado plays music as Sonnyt listens and leans against him. The two acting as if the last 12 years had not really happened, though someone has taken notice of some changes that have taken place. As, Sonnyt once stood taller than Carbonado until his mother took him from the city to get him away from the trouble he had become involved with. Though he had to return to find work, though mostly in lower sectors and working as a barista to the many workers that needed their caffeine fix. Carbonado as Azrael, his bounty hunter appearance. The long standing pact he made at 17 altering him in a few ways, most noticeably his red eyes, sharp teeth, and forked tongue. When taking upon his pact, horns grow from beneath his hair and he dons a mask to help keep too many from catching onto who he is. Azrael fights with a great sword and a high caliber pistol, which his size allow him to do so. He is also able of hand-to-hand combat, which he turns to on bounties that require the target to return alive. He usually only handles monster based bounties. Cad is known in Limsa as The Jackalope, for his viera'ra genes. Its generally seen as a "WHO is taking part? No. Nope. Not getting involved." type of title. In Kugane he's known as the Big (bodysize) Little Brother Bodyguard (guarding his big sis). The siblings are legendary in causing mischief. ->

Very much a work in progress, but so far I am happy with everything minus the hair. I'm still looking for a good hair, but here is a preview of what I have done for all those who are curious what I have been up to.
A Viera'ra with long red hair and red eyes, dressed in black leather. Wings of black adorn their body as they kneel holding a draconic greatsword. Their scales are black with a reddish hue and in their hair sprouts forth horns of black with gold and red decorations.

I don't know if this is helpful, but I know Viera'ra has a skeleton with tail access and I've used that before

I swapped male ears for female and was able to keep the tail in function (it's tied to the ears)
Should be possible to swap tail models just as easily
