Day one of "What if I use timeblocking with my to-do lists" was a surprising success. I've done all but two things, and honestly I lost an hour to dizziness in the morning and another hour or so to unexpected tasks and *in theory* I could do those tonight still. I have the hours (but not the brain).

Sometimes I feel like I have to many hobbies/interests - both tech-wise and creatively (sometimes both intersect). Some *serious* timeblocking seems to be the only solution to maintaining them all.

I timeblock in a planner that uses 24h notation instead of 12h and the number of times I have to stop and think about what that corresponds to is ...not small.

Also it's a scam that timeblocking works so well.

How do you… timeblock and then stick to the tasks you've decided for those blocks.

RN I follow broad/general "work shifts" and breaks in case *what* I want to work on changes.

Is it better to be more specific in timeblocking? And if so… how to commit.

Batch similar tasks together.
Reply to emails, write content, schedule meetings - all in separate blocks.
Switching contexts kills momentum. Batching saves your brain.
