Taught my TI85 high school chemistry with TIBasic. My Chem teacher banned TI85s in his class for years after me too, because he had seen my program on other people's calculators.

I remember this was why my calc teacher in highschool was happy that I was writing TIBASIC programs for my graphing calculator and let me use them. He said if I could make a program that did the pythagorean theorem automatically, it was proof I knew how to do it in the first place.
