No I don't, and never will subcribe to substact when they fund nazis. & won't subscribe to other media of those who use substack either.
But clearly you don't damn that you bring views and ad revenue that goes to them. Or that the CEO follows those nazis and is a Thiel devotee. $$ before morals.

he has pushed the Substack format to the level of a forgotten two-season FX drama
the last Lizza post ended on a cliffhanger where Lizza teased a recording of Trump talking about the assassination attempt that would potentially "shatter our understanding of recent history." in the latest drop he reveals that he doesn't know what the recording was and also it has been destroyed.

Serious question: if I wanted to get back into longer form writing about music, perhaps as some sort of resolution that becomes an albatross I am bored with by April, what are the good blogging platforms these days? All I've picked up by osmosis is 'Substack is fash' (can't remember why)
Strap in for four more weeks of me shovelling ever more superlatives on to this album, perhaps I'll write something proper about it if I can find a good platform, and be arsed

Unsurprisingly @jim.londoncentric.media of @londoncentric.media (a brilliant substack reporting London which is worth your time and money) has the background on Zipcar. Council fees is a part of the story though not all. TLDR: no centralised transport policy.

Why Zipcar gave up on London
The car-sharing scheme was hit by rapidly increased costs, a new congestion charge, and a lack of support from councils.

Great question. By 'migrate,' I mean moving your existing blog content (from Medium, WP, Substack, or Ghost) onto a Blogsitefy folder (like yourdomain .com/blog)

Klement's substack today recommending 5 books he's read this year, for anyone wanting some Christmas ideas. contains this 'helpful' differentiation between Fascism and Nazism; I prefer to stick with the simple idea that they're all assholes myself:

Medium, Quora, and Substack help you monetize content with built-in options. If your content is easy to understand and high quality, people will subscribe to it.

This way, you can generate revenue. Engage with other writers and leave comments to boost engagement on your posts.

The piece would be better if the writer hadn't missed that 1) A16Z tried starting its own pub in like 2014, hiring 2 Wired editors 2) it didn't just start a Substack - it is it's primary investor at US80M+ and 3) the VC bros has been at war with the media for 10+ years as they went fascist
