Throughout the years I've been working on the fandom side, I've met so many others tackling other slices of this problem: groups teaching to build horizontal organizations, groups offering legal advice, as well as those building open technologies & protocols to bring us together.

Linking = connectors. Links between circles help align circles, help information flow and balance circles with each other. Decisions = consent. Circles set their agreements by consent - if a circle member has objection, the proposal needs to be improved. Feedback. Tbh we have poly centric law in anarchist theory and models irl, I i want open source and poly centric governance to replace the government and state.

Replace bureaucracy with adhocracy and embrace sociocracy also.

Consensus is practically for 5 but completely unworkable with modern infrastructur

What I think this article does really well is distinguish two things: hierarchy, holacracy, sociocracy, flat structures, and dynamic governance are all systems.

I have a lot of questions because I love coops.

How would a collective scale?

Would it form into something similar to a sociocratic organization or would it remain a simple direct democracy for company wide decisions and have elected managers for specific domains and scope levels?
Sociocracy is a governance system that creates decentralized domain specific groups that come to decisions through consent. Consent means that you aren't saying no and that a decision is at least good enough for now rather than saying that you're for it. Feedback is gathered to improve the solution at different points for the people affected by a decision. This is an alternative to majority rule direct democracy that can leave out a lot of nuance from decision making and offers a structured approach to proposing and iterating on ideas.
