#migrators
The Red Phalarope feeds on crustaceans which they pull to the surface by swimming in tight circles to create a whirlpool. They are long-distance migrators, breeding along the Arctic circle and traveling thousands of miles to their winter grounds on the shores of tropical oceans.

We've been having very chilly nights and here's Fred/Freida/Frederico on the nest warming up in the sun after a cold night

Did you know? Great Blue Herons are partial migrators here in Colorado. Some will migrate and others will stay.

Well since there’s a new wave of fandomtwt migrators today, I’ll give a shout out to any 911twt or SPNtwt people who used to follow me or are looking for more people to follow!

I’m a Merthur-raised Heller in my Buddie era. Destiel’s canon and I’ll die before I give up on Bobby or SPN S16. 💙💚

I've been seeing a lot of hashtag posts lately, are those usable now or is it just old habits from recent twitter migrators?

Trying to narrow down my favorite migrators is impossible, so I'm going with one that embodies both themes. I always miss the sounds of Gray Catbirds, even if they're usually yelling at me.

Nothing to see here? Think again! These sphinx moth #caterpillars are two MONTHS late emerging, due to a tardy monsoon.

They generally are a food source for migratory birds in EARLY summer. The migrators are gone. What did they eat? Changing weather patterns impact so much.

The cycle will renew in the Spring, as the Fall migrators, fresh from their Mexican vacation, head to Texas to lay their eggs on Texan milkweed.

Their offspring will never see Mexico. They live 2-6 weeks, lay eggs & die in Texas.

THOSE offspring will also live less than 2 months, continue north.

I'm north of the 45th parallel, and almost exactly between the equator and the north pole and live along a major flyway. This time of year is always interesting with all the migrators. Still seeing migrating monarch butterflies and hummingbirds daily here in the first days of autumn. 🐥🦋 #birds

recently, so it must have gotten pushed west on its flightpath. These amazing migrators fly from their arctic breeding grounds to southern S America for winter, a distance of up to 8500 miles! And then they do it again in Spring to head northward! You can see if you look closely that this #bird’s

Monday at Horicon I saw was a flock of 300+ swallows feeding over the marsh. They preferred marsh near patches of land. Not sure on species. I think Northern Rough-Winged Swallows, there was a few Tree Swallows I noticed too. I am sure they were migrators. It was fun to see the frenzy of #birds.

If you want any advice or tips on how to help, please dm me. I have 10 chrysalises even right now cooking outside from growing plants this past month. I've donated some to friends to teach and educate the amazing life cycle of our strong little migrators

Please help, every little butterfly matters

This whole #tiktok thing is hilarious! US gov thinking they have the power to control what people use by banning TikTok was such a stupid move. Literally sent china a red pack for new years with all these TikTok migrators. Old White men in power, not understanding how the Internet works.

January 19th summarised

The whole of America lost their sh*t as TikTok got banned and soon migrated over RedNote

Knowing that their data and their info gets taken in by the CCP

RedNote welcomes Americans migrators

Gets flooded with racist memes

Hours later, TikTok ban lifted.

15 Days of Fun Goose Facts

Day 3: Geese are amazing migrators! They fly thousands of miles, crossing continents & navigating harsh weather. Some species migrate non-stop for hundreds of miles, using thermals & celestial navigation #GooseFacts #MigrationMarvels"

Thanks Bluesky for surviving the onslaught of us migrators! 🫶

You (and I) don't want Americans to lose freedom of speech, but it's not an American app. My point is that I hope the app-migrators can understand why Chinese users won't be open to talk about anything and everything. They are digital tourists at that point.

@localnotail.bsky.social thanks for the follow. Nice to see you here amongst other x / twitter migrators.

do any other twitter migrators remember that girl who did a 30 day fast
November 27, 2024 at 6:22 PM
I don't think a lot of the migrators are thinking rationally. Given how heavily monetized TikTok is, I suspect a lot of people were pitching a fit over having their $$$ source cut off.

Now that BlueSky is open I would like to gladly extend a warm welcome to any Twitter migrators out there. I would just warn you though that BlueSky in its current state feels more like an Early Access than a full-fledged Twitter replacement.

Over on IG, @birdsoftheworld.bsky.social is running #BirdArtWeek2025 - really loved the idea of Moonlit Migrators so had a go at combining one of my coloured pencil drawings with some digital illustration! #birds 🪶
