Recently been debating "cancer screening skeptics" about endpoints in screening RCTs. They insist on overall survival (OS); when I point out feasibility issues, they say infeasibility of RCT on OS proves screening doesn't work. Prejudice masquerading as methodologic rigor.

I get why these companies are trying to build agents. Earlier this year we asked survey respondents what they wanted AI tools to do, and help with mundane tasks was the leading category.

More broadly, I think sequence analysis is a powerful, flexible method that you should consider adding to your methodologic toolbox

I’m happy to share that our sequence analysis “didactic” paper is now published!

I think this method is powerful, flexible and solves the persistent challenge of characterizing variables that unfold over time (& produces great graphics).
