The flag was used to let others in the group know where an upcoming meeting would be held

Sometimes nailed to trees, sometimes tied to lightpoles, and usually out in front of a Boston tavern

All of the reinstalled cameras were out right back where they were. Most were just like, reclamped onto public lightpoles, but a few had to have mounting poles reinstalled in the ground. Some even had what I can only call a spray paint calling card, lol

"The devices, located on lightpoles, will measure levels of a fine particle pollution, known as PM 2.5 as well as nitrogen dioxide, which is a gas that forms from the burning of fuel, such as diesel."

Chicago moves a step closer to neighborhood air-pollution monitoring
A network of almost 300 air sensors installed across the city is the largest of its kind in the U.S. The pollution data are expected to be made public next year.

Lakeshore Drive is designed to do that. People getting struck by the lightpoles or car parts as a result of cars crashing into those lightpoles is an outcome built into the design. It's designed that way because Illinois DOT "engineers" are soulless goons who hate any humans who aren't in cars.

WIP Interchange map. Worked a little bit on the exterior on stream today. Added roof window, adjusted the trees a bit, made lightpoles & some other pillars.

Same thing happening in neighbouring Côte Saint-Luc. Both also fly Israeli flags from lightpoles on major streets for several weeks a year, though the number of flags was noticeably less this year than previous.

Fun underrated fact about the superbowl, during the halftime show, people were already climbing on the lightpoles because the game was already over at that point

Start greasing the lightpoles babes 🦅

Even when you, sitting in your car, are the lightpoles the story ends the same way. Unless they find the driver asleep at the wheel police seem unable to prosecute or investigate anything. And dont bother requesting a police report in Maryland, tearing up a $20 is a faster way to get nothing

The local councils told right wing English wankers not to hang flags on the lightpoles (since it makes maintenance impossible) and took them down. So they've went all feral and are trying to paint red crosses on lots of white road markings. Done in pathetic red spray paint and distracting drivers.

I hope they Crisco-ed the hell out of those lightpoles.

Trump has always hated the residents of Washington DC, in particular the day the 2020 election was called and we had the biggest impromptu street party ever, with people climbing up lightpoles and cracking open champagne bottles over the crowd, like it was VE-day in freakin WWII

im so beyond amused by the dock town lightpoles that are normal wooden poles until you look at the base and see it's floating

Nice. We weren't very good those years. I almost got thrown out of the game at Pius my senior year for raising a Chamblee flag up one of the lightpoles

The City of Lightpoles.

So romantic

skate boards had the same impact on many personalities

in 80s, we'd drill a hole in the nose of longboards & attach a small windsurfer sail and have races in mall parking lots around the lightpoles

only a few would try that on smaller skateboards

scary fast is what is fun to some
