My #JWST proposals (all co-I -- I'm not that energetic!) stretch over 2500 in proposal ID number. If JWST Cycle 4 had 274 awards, we're looking at at least a 10:1 oversubscription... #Astrodon #jwstcycle5

Between the lowest and highest proposal numbers I've seen, there are already 1600 new #JWSTCycle5 proposals, ~14hrs before the deadline (8:00 pm US Eastern Daylight Time)...
Morning its #JWSTcycle5 deadline day. It seems like proposals are running high with numbers rapidly rising overnight. My approximate numbers are ~1500 currently in!
