Colombian President Gustavo Petro ordered on Tuesday (11) the suspension of information sharing with American security agencies until the United States ceases attacks on boats in Caribbean and Pacific waters. "An order is given to all levels of public force intelligence to suspend the sending of communications and other dealings with American security agencies," Petro wrote in X. The president claimed that "the measure will be maintained as long as the United States continues missile attacks on speedboats in the Caribbean."

My old employ, it was required for any connection outside intranet. Enforced with the threat of the tin tac. Customer information, company data, compliance with data protection etc. We had regular courses to hammer it home and they took data security very seriously.

Some of the people AG over at the Daily Beans has been talking to need to get together and leak them. Hundreds of agents have been going over them logging certain information into spreadsheets for months. They're not following proper security protocols, it shouldn't be too hard.

So anyway, found out my boss was undercutting me for a job she didn't need, my potential employer didn't actually understand their field particularly well and had bad information security practices, and not only thought he got away with it but bragged. Never confronted them, but I KNOW. /3
