Kyara owns a Hovercycle. It used to belong to her mom.
it was in a state of disrepair at a certain point and they fixed it together.

It is one of her most sentimental possessions because of it. So much so, she doesn't allow anyone, not even Zack, to work on it.

18. EXT – Kyara and Zack’s Buntha Residence – Day The following day, early noon. Rowyn and Blip walk up to the front door of Kyara and Zack’s Buntha home. She smacks the door repeatedly, but no response. “Where are they?” Rowyn asks Blip. Blip turns around and tweets at Rowyn, she looks back as well. From the distance the hum of the hovercycle is getting louder and louder as Kyara and Zack ride in on it, stopping at their front yard. Their hair is messy and their clothes seem to have been put on in a rush. “Were you two gone all night?” Rowyn asks them. They both turn beet red, look at each other a giggle. “Maybe.” Kyara says as the pair dismount the hovercycle and walk up to her. Rowyn first looks confused but then she notices the two are lightly holding hands she looks surprised. “Ooooh.” She says before grinning. Kyara and Zack start walking towards the door together. “I’m glad the two of you got to enjoy each other’s ‘company’.” Rowyn says with a smirk. “But you better go freshen up, Jet is waiting for us.” Kyara and Zack enter the house giggling.

A not insignificant part of the story and Kyara's personality, revolves around her relationship with her (deceased) mother Cathrine.

Cat died when Ky was at a young age, leaving her with an idealized version of Cat in her mind. Worst of all, she compares herzelf to this idealized image.

Based on what I could glean from what you shared and some quick searches, I tried up a short for the drow space pirate. Hopefully I'm not too far off base.

The newly acquired Hyperdrive Core she had picked up on the company ship was going to fetch her a high price on the black market. The #Hinterlands script is done. Ended up being longer than I thought, but it is what it is. Not the deepest dive in the world, but I think it'll still eclipse an hour. It's bonkers just how much stuff happens in the Hinterlands. It'd be impossible to do a timely video in depth on it all #Battletech
