I am in the middle of reading two novels. Both are captivating, both have queerness, but are otherwise very different. The Fraud, by Zadie Smith, is a fascinating historical novel. When The Angels Left the Old Country by Sacha Lamb, is a delightful (Ashkenazi) Jewish historical fantasy.
