A Cypro-Aegean EpiDoc Working Group has just been established, chaired by Ester Salgarella, and will meet for the first time in the next couple weeks. Very excited to build on work with Mycenaean and Wingspread, and to engage with many super smart new colleagues.

Feel free to drop in at the open zoom link if you want to know more about EpiDoc, have specific questions, need technical help, are thinking about a project or just want to hear what other people are up to.
Basically, if your object is as important as your text then EpiDoc may be the flavour of TEI XML for you. (Books, ecclectic editions of manuscripts etc maybe less so.)

I didn't get a chance of taking a photo of myself, so here's the profile picture of my presentation about progress in the analysis of the inscriptions themselves, exemplified with stones from @nmireland.bsky.social.

You want your XML rendering engine (whether EpiDoc Reference Stylesheets, other XSLT, or other tool) to turn the *correct* XML into the desired display.
In other words, printing ᚐꜝᚑꜝᚒꜝᚓꜝᚔꜝ would be a transformation, not a default. Just as easy to print only the first
