Yeah, I have to agree. I know a couple of serious Deleuzian scholars who make arguments in books that are thought-provoking. These are erudite, hard-working writers, & I think DnG‘s What is Philosophy & AntiOed are worth knowing. The problem is I can barely understand a word of online Deleuzians.

You can see this made explicit in DnG's choice of term "desiring production" (which effectively translates Spinoza's conatus within the human/social field), and even their stance towards "anti-production". The imperative is: Produce!

Interesting. DnG's human "assemblages" and the blurring of the machine-human inter-relations may have anchorage in Wiener's Anti-Aircraft predictor, and the cybernetic (dehumanizing) treatment of human pilots and their aircraft as man-machine enemies.

I suspect that a layer of depth is within DnG's wasp-orchid example, the ways that similitude (something that appears as a "copy", sometimes seen as deceptive), allows jumps between very different regimes of meaning or organization...how for instance the human appearance of mandrake influenced...

Deleuze and DnG's targets, rhetorically/polemically but also metaphysically, are (often?) wrongly directed at negative feedback, conservative interiors, not appreciating how they work with, in great complexity, positive feedback (flights!). Deleuze's game with difference follows the same problem.

And coincidentally, or not, this plays out in DnG's (relative) suppression of the "re-" in the de- and re- territorialization dyad...which is one of my main difficulties with them.

I think best practice is probably to have a full backup of the DNG's both locally and in the cloud. I probably wouldn't archive the JPEGs unless you really like the rendering and can't easily replicate the look in Lightroom.

Every (re)territory, arbor, habit, "return", Same is at least rhetorically positioned as impeding "natural" becoming...
