I'm not saying it's impossible, and I know I'm shining the Contrarian Signal. I know there's advantages under the hood like (improved) DirectStorage and security. But very little in the way of features that make use noticeably better, and plenty of changes that make it worse and more cumbersome.

The way Microsoft has handled Directstorage in particular has been an absolute farce, and any meaningful alternatives are, well, nonexistent (which is alarmingly concerning for the future of gaming on Linux)
