#densest
In High School we lived 5 miles away from one of the densest swamps in the United States. The kind of place where they train Navy SEALs and Bear Grills shoots TV shows and fewer people got lost there than manage to get lost in what are basically municipal forests here in Massachusetts.

"Yes, that's exactly what I should build, it might be useful" - me watching a video about turning an RPi into a rugged sub-GHz long range router that provides connectivity across remote areas, knowing full well that I live in one of the densest metro-regions in Europe w/ concrete in all directions

Los Angeles and the Density Paradox

"Los Angeles is sometimes described as among the densest U.S. urbanized areas, largely due to traffic congestion, this perception conflates vehicular congestion with urban population density. Unlike New York’s heterogeneous urban form, characterized by highly […]

lads, it's Obama (it sounds that way to me, too, but Obama positively craved the approval of the densest of bricks)

Electeds invent the weirdest excuses to avoid building infill, while grasping at straws to justify building in the suburbs

There is way more money for low usage highways in suburban areas than for high usage transit in the densest parts of the state

NYC is the densest city in the USof$. SF is also dense, because like NYC, it is geographically constrained. They collude just as much in blue cities as in blue dot cities. In my opinion, they collude to maximize harm, thus minimizing voter power over them.

Waymo's uncrewed robots account for >1% and possibly ~2% of surface road VMT in San Francisco, by far their densest deployment.

I reviewed Danny Brown and Armand Hammer + The Alchemist's latest albums, two of the year's densest -- and I haven't even gotten to Rosalía's. humanizingthevacuum.wordpress.com/2025/11/13/d...
Density: Danny Brown and Armand Hammer
Two of the year’s most difficult listens, as intricate as latticework, appear in this week’s roundup. A Danny Brown fan since Old and of billy woods and Euclid since 2022, I took genero…

But the death toll keeps climbing.

Running fast trains at street level through some of the densest areas of South Florida has led to 193 people being killed since 2017.

I think most of the criticism is due to the low ridership of both lines relative to their locations. A suburban bus route has fewer riders, but the streetcars serve some of the densest neighborhoods in WA. Also, there is a ton of overhead costs that are hard to justify given the low ridership.

UPDATE: These alpaca dryer balls are the densest I've ever used. I can hear them banging away in the dryer a floor above me.

Probably bad for my clothes, but so is wearing 'em.

3. **Density Separation:** In this molten state, denser materials sink towards the center, while lighter materials rise to the surface.

If the northern lights are able to be seen in Maryland again tonight... viewing conditions should improve as the evening progresses. Clouds are densest north of I-70, on into northeast Maryland early this evening.

Los Angeles and the Density Paradox
The city is already overloaded with cars, yet it lacks the density needed for transit to work effectively. Moving beyond this stalemate is essential.

It’s the densest matter in the universe before becoming a black hole. On Earth? It would instantly explode.
