Among other things, he argues that "deglobalization" is not the alternative to our globalized system. There are different kinds of globalization, with very different impacts on the global economy and on those of each country, and the real question is what kind we will choose.

My Investment Themes are: (i) the Replication/Parallel Economy; (ii) Deglobalization, (iii) Anti-ESG (i.e. sectors that have been negatively impacted by such principles) and (iv) Cutting edge technologies that disrupt industries weighed down by excessive bureaucracy.

How significant is it that British _regional_ inequality increased massively during the 1930s?

The Jarrow Crusade happened because deglobalization and Japanese competition destroyed demand for British merchant ships, and the new industries were overwhelmingly in South East England.

Are they aware that integration actively prevents a repeat of 1850-1945?
