These guys are the ones buying up business and farms they themselves are putting at risk and this will just add to that, make it easier for people to default and then they can send bailiffs.

Yours etc. This letter has now been replied to as follows: Dear Sirs, We acknowledge your letter of 29th April referring to Mr. J. Arkell We note that Mr Arkell's attitude to dam-ages will be governed by the nature of our reply and would therefore be grateful if you could inform us what his attitude to damages would be, were he to learn that the nature of our reply is as follows: fuck off. Yours etc. Readers will be kept abreast of any further developments. ARKELL v. Pressdram In April 1971, the Eye carried the story of how James Arkell, a retail credit manager, had dispensed with the services of two bailiffs who were on bail on charges of conspiracy to create a public mischief - despite the fact that he had for the previous year been in receipt of a monthly kickback of £20 from their company, Tracing Services Ltd, for putting debt-collecting work their way. It was not an especially spectacular story, but the subsequent letter from Mr Arkell's solicitors Goodman Derrick( GOODMAN, Lord) and the Eye's response set an important legal precedent which is still often cited as Arkell v. Pressdram (see letters below) The oft-cited punchline is that Mr Arkell was never heard from again, but in fact a libel writ arrived by return of post, complete with a "curt note" from Goodman Derrick. A year later came the news that Mr Arkell had resigned from his job with Granada and gone back to "his former business of debt collecting". In August 1972 Goodman Derrick offered to drop the case and pay the Eye's costs in return for an agreed statement only for their humiliated client to refuse any wording that involved his name appearing again in the magazine. The case fell apart and the action was dismissed "with costs to be taxed and paid to the Defendants by the Plaintiffs". "In view of the above," noted the Eye, "Mr Arkell has now, albeit belatedly, complied with the suggestion made to him at an earlier stage in the proceedings."

I need help. I'm sorry. I have to put a pause on my goal for the tablet and pay some debt i wasn't aware it was going to be this much. I have to pay £171 for my water bill. If i don't, they resort to bailiffs and i can't mentally handle that at all. Before anyone asks if i can get a discount on thew water bill, that's WITH the discount. Judge Ellis has the authority to order courts bailiffs after him. "A court bailiff is a court official responsible for maintaining security and order in the courtroom, ensuring the safety of judges, staff, and the public. They also have duties outside the courtroom, such as enforcing court orders."

This confirms what I have been thinking about for some time. I am petty bourgeoisie (I work as a mechanical engineer). Most communists and socialists in the US (in my experience) are petty bourgeoisie.

In the Manifesto of the Communist Party, Marx described the petty bourgeoisie as: . . . fluctuating between proletariat and bourgeoisie, and ever renewing itself as a supplementary part of bourgeois society. . . The individual members of this class, however, are being constantly hurled down into the proletariat by the ac- tion of competition, and, as modern industry develops, they even see the moment approaching when they will completely disappear as an independent section of modern society, to be replaced in manufactures, agriculture and commerce, by overlookers, bailiffs and shopmen. Vietnam’s Textbook of History for High School Students gives this definition of the petty bourgeoisie in the specific context of Vietnamese history: The petty bourgeois class includes: intellectuals, scientists, and small business owners, handicraftsmen, doctors, lawyers, and civil servants. The vast majority of contemporary intellectuals before the August Revolution of 1945, including students, belonged to the petty bourgeoisie. In general, they were also oppressed by imperialism and feudalism, often unemployed and uneducated. The petty bourgeoisie were intellectually and politically sensitive. They did not directly exploit labor. Therefore, they easily absorbed revolutionary education and went along with the workers and peasants. In general, these members of the petty bourgeoisie had a number of weak- nesses: self-interest, fragmentation, and a lack of determination. Therefore, the working class has a duty to agitate and spread propaganda to such members of the petty bourgeoisie, organize them, and help them to develop their strong points while correcting their weaknesses. It is necessary to skillfully lead them, make them determined to serve the people, reform their ideology, and unite with the workers and peasants in order to become one cohesive movement. Then, they will become a great asset for the public in resistance war and revolution.
