Have finished Homer. I enjoyed this one less that I thought I would. I think I was maybe a little bored with all the names. Ans perhaps a little incredulity too... given how far in reality Troy is from Ithaca. Just seemed dumber than perviously.

The journey from Troy to Ithaca isn't very long...so why didn't Odysseus's crew have enough food for the journey? They'd just won a war and sieged a City, so there should have been plenty of food to divvy up.

Casting blue eyed, anglo Saxon Matt Damon as Odysseus is just as idiotic as casting Brad Pitt as Achilles in Troy. Oscar Isaac would have been perfect as the legendary king of Ithaca (and by far better actor) but no, let's keep in line with the Hollywood cliché.
