Congratulations to Professor Gudrun Krämer on winning the 2025 Prize of the Historisches Kolleg! We were honoured to have her as a speaker in our #ThyssenLecture series, where she presented a talk entitled 'Local Modernity: Agency, Entanglement, and the Making of the Modern Middle East'.
The Prize of the Historische Kolleg 2025 goes to the renowned Islamic scholar Prof. Dr. Gudrun Krämer for her work "Der Architekt des Islamismus. Hasan Al-Banna und die Muslimbrüder. Eine Biographie", which was published by C.H.Beck in 2022. Our warmest congratulations!
