Two v important points if we want history to do justice to past and present #historyteacher

1. We need to know why we are teaching something (Mohamud and Whitburn’s Enquiry Ethic)
2. We need to make it clear where our evidence has come from -super important is you into ‘stories’ in history lessons

Next up at #SHPDTC25 @petejackson.bsky.social ‘s session on how we improve pupils’ historical writing. Love that this opened with the joy of writing and why so many pupils have lost this idea of joyful writing in secondary.
